These are some of my favorite portraits I’ve taken within the last year.

The first image required me to layer the image on top of itself with various blending modes as well as the use of image adjustments to get a clean look. This was necessary because the image was taken through a smudged glass ornament that was found on a nearby shelf.

The third image also took some time to edit because I had taken her open eyes from another picture and placed them over her squinted eyes. Spending time perfectly aligning the eyes and blending them in. Then I erased all the parts where the snow was over her eyes.
